Two students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology managed to make a piano out of ordinary bananas.

Thirty-year-old Eric Rosenbaum and Jay Silver for a long time experimented by turning everyday objects into controllers use: toys, cutlery and, as it seems, even Food. Students presented a prototype kit that allows you to turn into a kind of electric synthesizer some fruit. According to the inventors, their main task is not to in creating a serious musical instrument, and is to show people what the world around them represents a constructor with inorganic capabilities, and create that almost anything can be done.

To get such an unusual piano, Rosenbaum and Silver connected an electrode to each banana. Reverse Electrode Ends men connected to the device of their own invention, giving tonality to each fruit. Device in turn connects to a computer with special software. When pressed, a regular ripe banana generates a negligible electric charge, however, it is enough to transmit a signal to a computer. IN the result is a frivolous synthesizer that allows play primitive tunes by clicking on bananas. Who about what, and some craftsmen created a piano without a pianist.

Students previously managed to turn a soccer ball into a joystick for game console, and a cup of milk – in the measuring tool level. Moreover, each of us, according to them, can calmly repeat these experiments at home and get a lot from their implementation pleasure.
