In the US state of South Carolina, the authorities were by chance destroyed two and a half million honey bees. Officials not planned to upset the balance of the local ecosystem, but showed unacceptable negligence, which resulted in this tragedy.
August 28th in Doschester County over thirty eight square kilometers of beekeeping was sprayed insecticide for controlling mosquitoes Zika. Early in the morning several planes dropped clouds extremely powerful poison that instantly kills insects. Thanks in hot weather, many bees were outside their hives and were directly poisoned by an insecticide. Time to hide in cover, they didn’t have.
According to preliminary estimates of experts, all this was at least two and a half million bees were destroyed. Only in the city Summerville apiaries lost forty-six large hives. Officials admitted their guilt and apologized to the agrarians, however, beekeepers felt that apologies were not enough for them.

Entrepreneurs are convinced that authorities should stop the use of such powerful chemicals to combat pests. In addition, the beekeepers are outraged by the fact that no one did not warn them about the upcoming spraying of the insecticide.
