Over the creation of an airy comprehensive Internet that will available in every, even the most inaccessible now point of the planet, here Google has been working hard for years.
Recently completed another experiment with a balloon Project Loon – a project that was put into operation a little more than two years ago. New balloon flies safely from New Zealand in Chile, and then returned – landed safely in the original point.
Such balloons, hundreds of balloons, will be in the future, as conceived by company management, fly above ground at altitude about twenty kilometers and cover the entire planet sustainable, pervasive and cheap internet connection. ABOUT collaboration with Google in this promising direction already talked to the largest mobile companies in the world.
In January of this year, Google’s management turned to United States Federal Communications Commission on permission to use the high-frequency spectrum of radio waves over 24 gigahertz, which is necessary for a full air Internet.
That is, today the company is ready to try to launch such unique connection over a single country – USA. And then – this project will be distributed worldwide.
