The other day, Spanish scientists were the first who managed to get video of the reaction of children in the womb to the music. It turned out that the fetus hears a melody and may even be peculiar sing along to her, moving his tongue and lips.
The authors of an unusual study were employees of Barcelona Institute of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Took part in the experiment more than a hundred pregnant women for a period of fourteen to thirty nine weeks.
Their unborn offspring played “Partita in A minor” Bach. For kids to hear music as clearly as possible, scientists invented a special device with a speaker applied to stomachs of future women in labor. At the same time, researchers produced ultrasound video of the reaction of children. Ultrasound revealed that before of how experts included classical music, forty-five percent of kids made various spontaneous movements limbs and head. Thirty percent arbitrarily moved lips, and ten percent – protruded outward tongue.
When the melody sounded, eighty-seven percent of the fruits began to actively nod and open their mouths, as if swaying head and soundlessly singing along with the music. Once the classics turned off, such movements immediately stopped.
It is noteworthy that to react to music, as it turned out, kids may as early as sixteen weeks, although previously it was believed that complete fetal hearing aid does not develop before twenty six weeks. According to Spanish scientists, this find is very valuable because it opens up new possibilities for stimulation neurological development of a person even before his birth.
It is possible that the Spaniards will launch their miracle speaker for children in the womb in mass production. At the same time, experts note that only classical music is considered pleasant and useful for toddlers.
