However, Brazilian forests keep such riddles and secrets about which it’s not customary to speak aloud and show off to them curious tourists.
We all know about the existence of many anomalous zones on Earth, which are characterized by inexplicable phenomena and events. One of Such zones are located in the Amazonian jungle. There are places where and Today, some prospectors are rushing to find gold.

About ten years ago, a group of gold miners also decided try your luck here. However, the local ideological shaman warned them that you can’t wash gold in these parts. Here, they say, is growing the magic tree that the god of the underworld himself planted and who does not like interference in the natural harmony of nature …
The shaman, of course, did not obey. And at first everything went well, until the gangsters selling cocaine arrived who decided at the same time put a paw on the gold. Among the miners was a man (conditionally let’s call him John) who woke up on that fateful day shots. Realizing what had happened, John rushed under machine gun fire to run.
As it turned out later, he was the only one miners who survived. The bandits did not intend miss the witness and therefore pursued him on the heels. Bock at that was hit by a bullet, and from the wound, albeit not serious, flowed all the time blood. The fugitive quickly lost strength and finally fell exhausted the ground. John had no doubt that his death was near: he heard his pursuers are pushing through the thicket. Soon, three armed bandits appeared from the forest. They could kill their victim right away but for some reason they hesitated …
Eater Tree Saves the Prospector
John raised his head, wanted to look at the sky for the last time – and instead, I saw an unimaginable picture. Tree branches, under which stopped the killers, began to move in a strange way. They are were generally very unusual – with red leaves resembling in the shape of the brush of human hands, and fruits surprisingly similar to human heads.
Like snakes, branches rushed down and instantly braided bandits. A few minutes later their heart-rending cries died down. John was in deep shock and did not even remember how much time passed before the tree spat out the bones of his recent pursuers. At the sight of this sight the man woke up and rushed away from the terrible places.

A few days later he reached a human settlement. Interestingly, John was never able to remember how it turned out mined gold, albeit a little, but real capital. Afterwards this man got on his feet, that is, he succeeded in business, bought a house, started a family. That’s just in the Brazilian jungle, he never again popped. Nevertheless, they dreamed for a long time, and then he woke up in a cold sweat …
