Seventy four year old resident of the United Kingdom Wendy Stokes reunited with his hundred-year-old tortoise Toby after the last one left the house for a whole year.
Toby lives with a British woman who doesn’t have a soul in a turtle since the beginning eighties. The animal disappeared from home last May when an elderly woman forgot to lock the garden gate. The turtle came out on the road where it was picked up by an attentive driver. He drove Toby in animal rescue center, which sheltered the tortoise for six months. Then she was taken to her new owners, and Toby was at thirty-five kilometers from Wendy.
New owners are interested in the word “Stokes” written in white paint on the shell of an animal, and they decided to call all the inhabitants surrounding cities with that name. Six months later, Wendy I met a friend of the same name who remembered that he a few months ago they called about a missing turtle. The woman contacted him on a tip with the new owners of Toby and received your pet back.
According to a happy pensioner, she has already lost all hope to return the turtle. Toby got it from her aunt, so is not only a pet, but also a memory of the deceased relative. Wendy quickly made friends with a married couple who thanks to her decency, she managed to reunite an elderly woman with favorite pet.
