Swedish scientists unexpectedly find healthy properties of cholesterol.
It turned out that cholesterol helps the activation of the receptor, which necessary for the body to produce insulin. Other than that, he helps protect cells from stress, which provoked by chronic or prolonged glycemia – high blood glucose.
Commenting on their discovery, a group of scientists from Sweden and United Arab Emirates explained that at a high level human cholesterol produces a specific metabolite, due to which there is an increased production of insulin. Given the discovery explains the emergence of hunger and the appearance of excess weight.
