Coral gardens are not just the fantastic beauty of underwater of the world, this, as oceanologists say, is a litmus test well-being of the marine environment of our planet. Unfortunately, this beauty gradually disappears. And although some researchers say that this is a false alarm, the facts suggest otherwise.
According to the volunteers of the Kor-Si Center (underwater protection of the world), corals could actually, as some claim political scientists, withstand nuclear war, but not global Ocean poisoning by sewage.
Back in the late seventies of the last century for this reason corals began to become infected with the so-called “white plague” (discoloration), which in the present century has acquired horrific mass character. Only in the last four years, coral gardens lost almost half of their “lands”, which leads to global the extinction of fish, shellfish and other living organisms of the ocean. And this a catastrophe is not only for the underwater world – a sad echo it is early or later let it respond to the whole life of the planet.
Watch a video of how Cor-Si volunteers try to save these the most beautiful underwater coral gardens, and does this beauty have future.
