Musk is confident that in a few years, AI will put a person with a monkey at one level of development. However, the consequences of this users will feel the impact much earlier. Figuratively saying: AI will “poison” social networks. Tesla founder is sure advanced AI will soon be used to manipulate social networks.
Unfortunately, Musk did not specify what he meant by “advanced” AI, and how it will manipulate social networks. However, it is worth recognizing the fact that AI is very fast. improved: recognizes languages and writes texts that are difficult distinguish from human created.
As an example, talking about an impending threat, we can watch what happens on Mask’s twitter account. Various bots appear on his page, posing as the founder of Tesla and giving various tasks. For example, a bot with a mask avatar offers follow a specific link and get a “prize” for it. In the best in case the transition will be on a regular page, and in the worst – the visitor on the page is waiting for a virus.
Musk, outraged by this circumstance, got from Twitter administration blocking twitter accounts containing the name of the word “Elon Mask”.
Another case of using bots is associated with an influx on the web political comments. In the USA, for example, they believe that they influenced the presidential race.
Elon Musk previously expressed concerns about the rapid AI development. In his opinion, the day is not far off when the advanced a computer network with powerful intelligence and, worst of all, immortality, will begin to control all information, finances and weapons on Earth, having completely enslaved humanity.
