Brighton resident Richard Jackson was paralyzed after he ate one of the local establishments ate poorly cooked chicken. This was reported by The Sun.
According to the publication, a 39-year-old man, eating chicken, received mild poisoning. In a medical facility, he started raving, and he passed out.
The man was put in the intensive care unit and connected to ventilation system, while introducing into medical coma. In this condition, the victim spent 10 days.
When a man was taken out of a coma, it turned out that he was paralyzed below the cervical region. It turns out that poisoning provoked a rare body reaction when the immune system disrupted function the spine.
Jackson spent 2 months at a rehabilitation center where re-learned to walk, sit and serve himself. Unfortunately, it was not possible to achieve full recovery, and now the man is walking with a robotic suit controlled through brain signals.
