Florida is one of the most prone global warming of Earth. In the next few decades, rising water levels should lead to flooding of almost third of the coastal line of the US state. True local environmental officials can no longer use the term global warming.
The Florida Department of the Environment was it’s officially forbidden to use the terms “climate change”, “global warming”, “steady rise in temperature” and a lot others. Now you have to get rid of them in reports superiors, letters from an official to an official and, of course, in public speaking. This was told to American journalists recently dismissed and self-relieved workers department.
The ban, as former employees are confident, will significantly affect the work of the department, where over three thousand are currently employed people and whose annual budget is just under one and a half billion dollars.
The heads of the department motivates their behavior by the fact that officials have no right to talk about allegedly unproven things. It’s amazing that such an innovation appeared in Florida, where the negative effects of global warming were not just proven, but can also be seen with the naked eye.
It all started when the governor of Florida got a seat Riku Skotu, and became director of the Department of Environmental Protection Hershel Vinyard. The governor has repeatedly stated that he does not believe in increasing the temperature of the climate system of our planet, and it means, apparently, others should not believe.
