American 37-year-old Louis Jordan at the end of January this year went fishing to the coast of South Carolina and … disappeared. Through for several days relatives reported this to the police, and the man was announced unaccounted for.
A month later, relatives and friends of Louis became not without reason consider him dead. But the fisherman didn’t drown, he was still fought for his life although his yacht rolled over and Jordan almost lost everything he had: moving through water with motors, navigation devices, electronic equipment, gear for fishing and so on. Moreover, when trying to fix the ship, the man injured his shoulder and therefore did not just remain without normal Sudka, but still turned into a cripple.
For more than two months, a brave navigator fought for his life, I ate fresh fish, which I barely caught almost naked hands (using clothes), drank rain water, collecting it in a basin. By the way, he constantly tried to resume the movement of the yacht using improvised masts and sails, however, without special skills, moreover, with a sore shoulder, he achieved only one thing – his the yacht was turning over again, threatening the “brave captain” imminent death.
Only sixty-six days after the hapless fisherman quite by accident discovered the ship Houston Express, and the crew told that their ship almost sailed past, before one of the sailors noticed something strange on the horizon of the blue sea. It happened almost three hundred kilometers from the place where set off Louis Jordan on his yacht. According to him, all these long days of loneliness and despair, he prayed intensely and strove constantly maintain the faith that he will certainly be saved.
