For a former Ukrainian windsurfer require a tidy sumA photo open source Ukrainian Sports Federation agreed recognize the change of citizenship of Olga Maslivets, Crimean windsurfers, for 100,000 euros.

Maslivets explains that Ukraine refused to let her go Russian sport, although the Crimean club for the last couple of years windsurfing was not funded at all. By decision of the international Sailing Federation Olga may appear in the national team RF, but now it requires a tidy sum of 100,000 euros – supposedly this is exactly what Ukraine spent on Maslivets over the past years.

When asked if she will participate in the upcoming Olympic games of 2016, Olga does not know what to answer reporters. The International Olympic Committee is still waiting, why negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will end. Now sports hostile federations decide the fate of Olga Maslivets.

Before they demanded money from Maslivets for recognizing her Russian athlete, the Ukrainian side claimed that under no circumstances can a windsurfer speak for Russia, having received appropriate permission from the international sports federation.

But all these difficulties, which fell to the share of Crimean women, are not at all broke her fighting spirit, and in early February, Olga managed to conquer a bronze medal representing the Russian Federation in the World Cup, held in Miami.
