Scientists at Boston University (Faculty of Medicine) conducted serious study and came to the disappointing conclusion that mobile devices are increasingly turning into toys for babies. A this leads to serious consequences – it practically forms underdeveloped personality.
Today, parents, so as not to deal with their child and in order creating for yourself (only for yourself!) a comfortable atmosphere in the house, they often put the kid in the arms of an iPad or iPhone – and that, of course, calms down, being distracted from the environment by virtual games.
Scientists have found out what sitting out near a mobile device (no matter which one) leads to the fact that the child does not receives the most basic skills, say, communication with others children, and this develops in it, among all other disadvantages lack of social communication, empathy – inability empathize. In this case, fine motor skills also suffer, narrowing knowledge of the world, many other negative the consequences of such thoughtless education.
The experiments showed, says Dr. Jenny Radeski, that children, early adopters of mobile devices are lagging behind in development, with all indicators. And the best results are just those who knows nothing about the iPad or iPhone.
Scientists are not against mobile gadgets, without which modern life is simply impossible, they just recommend introducing them their babies as late as possible. And in no case should use these devices as toys for the smallest, when a child is just forming his consciousness and just begins to comprehend this world.
