Global warming plunges the Earth into darkness

A photo from open sources

In the melting of Arctic ice and a decrease in the amount of sun of light on Earth, our planet itself is partly to blame. To such American scientists came to an unexpected conclusion.

In the course of observations and analysis of satellite imagery data, they noticed that over the past few years the earth is rapidly losing its albedo, that is, the ability to reflect light.

When ice melts in the Arctic, the darker surface is water or soil – changing the balance of power is not in our favor, reflecting less and absorbing more heat. Also arctic air does not transfer heat from the surface to the upper atmosphere, in difference, for example, from the tropics, where air masses are distributed more evenly.
