Sunsets are sometimes so surreal fiery that some people mistake them for planetary disasters, let’s say the beginning of the Apocalypse, or at least consider it huge fire. Moreover, the media recently literally scared a lot of the fantastic fires in California that in actually arose and happened somehow mysteriously, and visually they were like the beginning of the doomsday promised by the mystics.
Perhaps a resident of the German city of Hamburg just seen enough telecasts from California, why November 27, seeing a bloody glow in the west (at least, according to him, the roof of a neighboring house literally burned), immediately called the fire department, urging them urgently go to the scene.
However, firefighters reassured the vigilant German by reporting him that it’s just a beautiful “bloody sunset”. True as later they told DW, this is not the first time that residents Hamburg call them on this occasion, taking the natural phenomenon for something terrible.
By the way, note that European cities, like Hamburg, just are not points on our planet where you can admire surreal sunsets, like, say, near the world famous Taj Mahal mosque mausoleum, beyond the polar circle of Iceland or Norway and so on (see photo below). Therefore when something the Germans or the French see this, they just panic. This is understandable, since unusual sunsets are all one for them, which for Muscovites Aurora Borealis.
