Arno Marsolye, one of the scientists involved in this project, said that specialists may need more than a week to troubleshooting and introducing the accelerator back into system. Ferret climbed into the transformer, according to preliminary experts estimate that Europeans will cost about two million Euro.
Collider launch was frustrated due to sandwich
It is worth recalling that such seemingly trifles had previously interfered proper operation of the Large Hadron Collider. For example, seven years a bird climbed back into the transformer substation in the same way, which also caused a circuit – true, then there were no breakdowns and depressurization of the ring. And a few months later, another the planned launch of the accelerator was disrupted thanks to a sandwich, left by one of the workers right inside the tunnel.
