The United States plans to build a ghost town worth one billion dollars. In almost uninhabited settlement American scientists will exercise testing innovative technologies to get a simulator cities of the future. Construction will begin this year in the southwest of the country, in one of the deserts of New Mexico.
The center of testing and innovation called “CITE” will become to work, but not live, about thirty-five thousand people. IN they will be mainly scientists, but it’s obvious that they also some staff will be required. Area inhabited point will be almost thirty-nine square kilometers. By official data, in the territory of “CITE” will be tested robotic vehicles, next-generation housing and alternative sources of electricity.
Underground will create the massive infrastructure needed to city water and energy resources management. IN the innovation center will also operate numerous laboratories, some of the best on the planet. Scientists will work in the city eight hours a day, then leave for special campus on the outskirts. The work week will be five days. Thus, the futuristic locality will remain completely empty at night, on weekends and on holidays.

If the project will justify its hopes, then similar cities will appear in America in the near future.
Professor Steve Rainer of the University of Oxford counted this the idea is ambitious, but short-sighted. According to the expert, impractical to test a city intended for ordinary people without these same inhabitants. “Conclusions may be obtained, which are very far from reality, “warns the briton their American counterparts.
