Photos from open Sources Small private brewery “Oxbow”, located in the American city of Newcastle, began to produce a very unusual product. Beer “Saison dell’Aragosta”, sold in half-liter bottled, made by adding to non-fermented raw materials lobster meat. A unique foamy drink with the taste of crustaceans I liked the locals, so I quickly became sell out.
Oxbow owner Tim Adams meets Italian Giovanni Campari, to establish joint production of a new beer. First, the brewers planned to make a German drink sample, which would have included barley and wheat. By making some not the most successful attempts, experts realized that the foam drinking is not enough salt. When the brewers ordered lobsters for dinner, Campari got the idea to try adding to their products crustacean meat with an exquisite brackish taste. First the American was skeptical about this idea, however a trial batch showed that a foamy drink with lobster quality and tasteful. It is possible that a similar other American manufacturers may soon adopt the practice beer.
The alcohol content in the drink is four and a half percent. For the second batch, Giovanni and Tim did not use meat, but lobster shells. Three thousand bottles of beer produced for this technology, went to the shelves of local stores and supermarkets. In less than two weeks, as a whole new product sold out. If lobster-flavored beer does not bother connoisseurs a foamy drink, Oxbow will continue to produce it further. Also Delivery of Saison dell’Aragosta to neighboring cities is planned.
