In Stuttgart, successfully completed a demonstration flight of a flying taxi (fiber optic). This was stated by the technical director “Volocopter” by Jan Hendrik Bjolens.
According to Bjolens, this was the very first flight demonstration. fiber optic in the city limits. The device under test was in the air for about four minutes. The pilot was controlled by the volcopter, located on the ground. There were no passengers in the cockpit either.
The developer of the aircraft believes that thanks to for electric motors, the fiber copter can fly autonomously.
