A terrible event occurred in the Republic of Peru that seemed if only the Middle Ages could have taken place, but certainly not in modern world. Residents of a remote village burned in cold blood an older woman suspected of witchcraft.
Such a violent crime occurred in the community of Shiringamazu Alto living in the rainforest in the central part South American state. Peruvians felt that the seventy-three-year-old Rosa Villar Harionika is a witch, damaging fellow villagers, and sentenced the unfortunate woman to be burned alive. Forty people supported this decision, which turned out to be most of the inhabitants of the settlement. The leaders approved this verdict and made a corresponding entry in the community journal.
The woman was tied up, overlaid with branches, and then doused with fuel and set on fire. You might think that this is completely wild settlement where people still walk in loincloths however this is not true. Residents of Shiringamazu Alto, rejoicing and hooting, filmed happening on camera mobile phones. On the terrible records that hit the Internet, you hear the helpless victim heart-rending screaming.
Due to the remoteness of the village, Peruvian law enforcement learned about the ritual murder only a few days later. Lynchers tried to hide the traces of the burning of a villager, however the police managed to find several charred bones. Besides community journal entry became evidence crime. At the moment, large-scale an investigation in which it is reported that there may be almost all the villagers were arrested.
