The idea, of course, was “raw”: the boots were heavy (5 kg each “boot”), move in without preparation it was impossible, the cost of manufacturing each couples – fabulous. But the military liked the idea, and they expressed a wish to the institute staff to continue work on project. In the USSR, the “wish” of the Ministry of Defense was equated with order, so the work continued, and so that foreigners did not miracle boots before us, on all publications about Saigak boots the military imposed a tough taboo. There are orders, both from Russians and from abroad. Ekomotor plans to reach 10,000 pairs in year, and Victor Gordeev with co-authors wants to increase the weight of each “boot” up to 1 kg.
