In the Russian city of Krasnouralsk, Sverdlovsk Region zoologists made a very interesting find. Specialists caught near the local abandoned chemical plant transparent frogs, which, among other things, on the extremities were present fingers. Amazingly, amphibians turned out to be alive after such strongest mutations. The discovery has already interested not only domestic, but also foreign scientists.
Russian experts suggest that everything could become the fault the factory, where hundreds of tons of the most diverse chemicals. Total experts caught sixty frogs – all of them in the front and hind limbs and even forearms, fingers were found, which should not be there.

Researchers cannot yet say with accuracy what caused such a serious deviation: genetics, chemical emissions, or both these factors combined.

Liquid substances flow to the ground and fall during rains into puddles where frogs can be found. Not it is possible that amphibians mutated precisely under the influence of these chemicals.
