Employees of Tomsk State University spoke with quite an unusual offer. The experiments that our compatriots conducted showed that the protein contained in earthworms is not inferior in anything nutritional qualities of protein in meat of domestic animals. By this the reason the researchers said the highly productive breed earthworms, which in theory can be deduced, and very easily, solve one of the most important problems with which it was forced to face humanity is an animal protein deficiency. Despite their unattractiveness, earthworms contain high quality protein rich in protein.
Tomsk State University is convinced that protein earthworm flour can be widely used in rural the farm. It can become an indispensable feed supplement for animals – in this way cattle will gain weight faster and give more healthy offspring, as well as more milk, meat and even skin.
