Strange as it may seem, the church does not protect its parishioners from natural and other disasters. We have written more than once, that people who believe in God suffered from earthquakes in temples, lightning strikes (see video), terrorists and so on. Something this happened in Rwanda – in one of the mountainous regions of this countries.
Last Saturday during a service to the church all of a sudden lightning struck, due to which 16 parishioners died instantly, and another 140 people in one way or another suffered from this natural phenomenon. Most of the victims were taken to hospitals, some people were in a rather serious condition (for example, several people are still on the verge of life and death).
By the way, we note that the temples of Rwanda are generally distinguished by violation various building codes, including the absence of lightning rods. For this reason, nearly 700 churches in the country were closed for the last two weeks. However, such precautions did not save parishioners in the temple, which for some reason was not buried along with by others.
Of course, this area of Rwanda is particularly dangerous with sides of such natural manifestations, suffice it to say what kind of the day before the church tragedy described above, a lightning bolt struck in a group of young people, leaving three students dead and three are hospitalized …
