The American Louisville Zoo, located in Kentucky city of the same name last Wednesday happened unusual event, as a result of which no one, fortunately, suffered: neither people nor animals. After an earthquake of magnitude 3.4 point that swept through this area in the southwest a huge karst funnel formed at the corner of the menagerie.

According to experts, the length of the pit in the ground is 82 meters, width – 54 meters, and depth – 16 meters. Turning on the video below, you can see this impressive collapse themselves. It’s noteworthy that under the zoo, like it turned out there are caves that were discovered due to the appearance of this funnel.

At the moment, menagerie employees fenced a hole and think over how to fix it. Moreover, the discovered caves raise serious concerns about further education such funnels …
