Near Katav-Ivanovsk, in the place where last year happened the most powerful earthquake in the last hundred years, strange discovered faults. According to the publication cheltv.ru.

The depth at which the faults are located is about 150 meters. Ural scientists cannot understand what is the matter. Data breaks can have a different character of formation: tectonic, natural or ore. Researchers still associate their appearance with recent earthquake.

American experts believe that the resulting faults may portend a fast powerful earthquake, and if the faults connect, then the situation will only worsen.

Scientists analyzed the earthquake in California in July of this year. This earthquake swept most of South California At first there was a foreshock, the magnitude of which amounted to 6.4, and then followed by a major hit of magnitude 7.1 and then more 100 thousand deep tremors.

Experts mapped a recent earthquake and found that it is significantly different from the previous ones. Before that, scientists believed that powerful earthquakes occur due to rupture one long fault, but it turned out that they can be provoked by a network of small interconnected faults. Scientists called this phenomenon the effect of falling dominoes.

Earlier, California scientists figured out where to start catastrophic earthquakes.
