American scientists from California who created the startup Otherlab, came up with a new fabric that will allow you to sew, say, jackets on any weather. And so on the horizon loomed universal clothes that are not afraid of either cold or heat.
Which of us did not face the fact that, going on a trip even for one day, not to mention long trips or business trips, did not know what clothes to bring. And therefore often you have to pack both one and the other, and the third, although everyone wants to take a minimum of things on the road, including clothes. But where do you go, you have to think about heat and cold, especially now that the weather in the yard is so unstable to the world.

Californian researchers’ innovative tissue solves this the problem is easy and simple. It (see video) consists of several layers (at least two), each of which has its own properties thermal expansion. Layers in the fabric are selected in such a way that with a decrease in temperature, folds form between them, and it means air pockets to keep body heat. AND on the contrary, with increasing temperature, such folds are smoothed out and the air pockets disappear.
At the same time, to create warm clothes or to turn them into cold do not need any electrical power or other devices – the air temperature difference does everything by itself, and soft and invisible to the user of such universal clothing.
