Fabien Cousteau has just completed his 31-day underwater research mission, during which six scientists studied coral reefs in a small laboratory at a depth of 19 meters off the coast of Cay Largo. Such a long-lasting underwater the residence allowed them to first capture some never previously unseen phenomena, Cousteau said in his first short interview from the bottom of the ocean.

Cousteau’s mission of 31 days was organized for studying the effects of global warming on coral reefs – and to add one day to the 30-day underwater exploration, which his father, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, spent 50 years ago. During this mission team that has just returned to the surface, collected enough data for at least ten research articles on this topic.
