California inventors have created an electric generator that works at night on solar energy. It is known that innovative technology based on the phenomenon of radiation cooling.
The principle of operation of the device is that after sunset, objects warmed up by the sun, the roof of houses, the soil begins gradually give up the accumulated heat. All this at night cools down and becomes colder than air thanks to this temperature difference device.
As a test, the inventors placed a generator on the roof one of the buildings by connecting an LED bulb to it through voltage transformer. Installation gave electricity only 25 milliwatts, however for inventors it was important to check the reality of such a device. According to the developers, after some improvements can be increased at least twenty time.
Inventors believe that their development will allow owners solar panels receive energy at night, when most often there is a shortage of electricity. Moreover, the researchers assembled the generator from the finished parts without producing any new items.
