Photo from open source Israeli biologists have set themselves a very ambitious goal – to create meat in the laboratory hen.
The idea, however, is not new. About a year ago Dutch scientists managed to grow a piece of cow muscle in the laboratory tissue. Specialists from Amit Gefen University in Tel Aviv decided take advantage of the bad experiences of their Dutch colleagues and everything to create an inexpensive artificial piece of meat from one chicken cell, which in terms of nutrition and taste will not be inferior present. If the experiment succeeds, the Israelis will begin large-scale production of meat from test tubes.

The fact is that modern animal husbandry releases so many greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, that it more than covers motor vehicles and even thermal power plants.
