Will you be surprised to hear that the human race becoming more and more stupid? Despite our successes on over the past tens or even hundreds of years, some experts suggest that people lose cognitive ability and becoming more emotionally unstable. Geneticist from Stanford University Dr. Gerald Crabtree believes that the intellectual extinction of the human race is associated with adverse mutations. But people’s intelligence also suffers from other factors.

According to Crabtree, our cognitive and emotional abilities feed and are determined by the combined effort of thousands of genes. If in one or more of these genes will cause a mutation – which is quite probably it will have a negative effect on our intelligence and emotional stability.

The geneticist further explains that people with specific adverse mutations are more likely to survive in the number of “strong”. Pesticides lower human intelligence

More specifically, scientists have found that specific pesticide chlorpyrifos leads to the appearance of “significant anomalies.” More importantly, a negative effect is detected even with very low doses of pesticide.

Processed Foods and High Fructose Corn Syrup make people stupid

Watching 14 thousand children, British researchers found a relationship between processed foods and lower IQ. Having analyzed the data on the diet of children and questionnaires filled out by them parents, scientists have found that if children consume processed products at the age of three, then over the next five years very probably the beginning of processes of decrease in the level of intelligence. With another hand, in children eating nutrient-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables, there is an increase in intelligence throughout three year period.

Interestingly, especially a close relationship with a decrease in intelligence installed in one specific ingredient of processed food, widespread throughout the globe – highly fructose corn syrup. Scientists have concluded that this syrup disrupts brain function, undermining learning abilities and remembering. In fact, official articles go so far that directly state that corn syrup makes people “stupid.”

It is possible that genetic mutations lead to a decrease human intelligence but let’s stop for a second and let’s think what we do with ourselves so that these reductions are even more significant.
