Meghalaya: the rainiest place on Earth

Meghalaya: the rainiest place on EarthA photo open source Indian state Meghalaya located on in the east of the country, it is not in vain that they call the rainy place in the world 11 000 mm of precipitation falls here, and it rains practically daily, which is an absolute record. Residents are already so accustomed to the vagaries of the weather that umbrellas have become an integral part their clothes. Another unique state attraction are suspension bridges woven from the roots of rubber trees. New Zealand photographer Amos Chapple just recently visited Meghalai and brought these wonderful pictures.
