Mysterious formation of unknown origin from the middle summers the exciting imagination of scientists has finally been investigated. Speech it’s about the famous Yamal black hole – a deep failure, to reach the bottom of which no one previously succeeded.
However, recently the situation has changed dramatically. Group researchers, armed with all the necessary equipment, took up the study of this unusual object. Within studies, scientists went down to the funnel hoping to reach its bottom and determine the origin.

The reason the funnel in the ground has not been studied immediately after detection, is in danger of collapse of its walls. In summer, the soil from the walls of the crater actively crumbled, preventing it from penetrating in depth. However, now that the soil has frozen, this hindrance disappeared, and the researchers set to work.
Having descended to the bottom, they first took soil samples and sent to the laboratory. Next, an air intake was made inside funnels, which showed the absence of dangerous gases for people. However this did not clarify the causes of the crater. Therefore researchers recommend drilling companies in this area, while what to suspend activity.
