According to experts at startup Atomo from the city of Seattle (Washington), who offered the world molecular coffee, their drink, unlike, for example, artificial meat or milk, it has an undeniable advantage: it’s nothing – neither its taste nor impact on the body – does not differ from a natural product the highest grade.

Company microbiologist Jarret Stopfort explains:

We have identified at the molecular level more than forty various compounds contained in natural coffee and corresponding for the taste, aroma, color and effect of the drink on the body, and therefore our artificially created analogue has practically nothing from it is different. However, it can be produced from readily available natural products that are cheaper than coffee beans requiring complex industry of growing, collecting, transporting and processing. But most importantly – they are not afraid of the threat of extinction, and yet it hung over 60 percent of coffee plantations due to climate change and labor problems.

And here’s what startup director Andy Klich says:

We intentionally did not go about making instant coffee, because we know the majority of people’s addiction to traditional making a drink from ground grains. Our product is made from environmentally friendly natural raw materials. All the rest – trade secret. However, I can say that the molecular analog, not inferior to the best varieties of natural coffee, will cost no more than 40 cents per cup, which, you see, is very cheap.

Atomo is confident that its drink will soon receive widespread amid a reduction in production (and, therefore, and a sharp rise in price) of natural coffee. Well, wait and see. If the company claims high product characteristics (coupled with promised low price) will be confirmed by consumers, then success is guaranteed to him.

Note: researchers at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew UK say coffee plantations in the world are gradually decrease and will soon be on the verge of extinction. Reasons for this lie in climate change on the planet, and also due to the emergence new types of fungi and pests, extinction of bees and so on, that largely due to the negative impact on the biosphere of the planet unreasonable human activity. For example, Dr. Davis is one of the leading scientists of England and the co-author of this study stated that this state of affairs can be a real disaster for the world, since the coffee industry today employs more than 100 million people. In this case, the molecular artificial coffee that was discussed the speech in this article will be a good help only to coffee lovers, but does not fix the problem in the global economy.
