This peculiar object, created 5000 years ago, seems to could be part of an ancient unknown complex mechanism according to a post by ADG UK and Brian Forster. In January 1936 years, a strange disk was found on the edge of the plateau of North Saqqara, about 1.7 km north of Joser’s step pyramid in Egypt.
The discovery of a mysterious prehistoric artifact that many consider the device was made in the so-called mastaba saba (Tomb 3111, pp. 3100-3000 BC), according to the famous British Egyptologist Walter Brian Emery (1902-1971). Sabu was a son Pharaoh Anedjib (the fifth ruler of the first dynasty of the Ancients Egypt) and a high official or city administrator or province, possibly named “Star of the Mountain family.” IN the burial chamber had no stairs, its superstructure was completely filled with sand, stone dishes, flint knives, arrows, a few copper implements and, most interestingly, a shale bowl in fragments.
The strange disk is now on the ground floor of the Cairo Museum, where visitors can see it. And maybe some of them wonder: what technologies did the Egyptians own and what did they were able to create in their story?
