Physics proves the immortality of the soul

In the UK, outstanding compatriots are usually given the noble title “knight” and the title “sir”. One of the happy holders of these regalia is the largest mathematician and theoretical physicist Roger Penrose.

For over ten years now he has been fearless, open and honest, like a real knight attacks one of nature’s greatest secrets – the mystery mind. His latest developments in quantum theory consciousnesses suggest the existence of life after of death.

By the power of thought and giftedness, many compare Roger Penrose not with anyone, but with Einstein himself: what he does in physics and math is just as incredible and brilliant. And it’s not so much about theories or discoveries. Penrose Offers Something Like New ways of knowing – not from the particular to the whole, as science is already acting several centuries in a row, and vice versa – from the whole to the particular. Perhaps this approach allowed Penrose to make a huge coup in science.

However, Roger Penrose is an icon not only for scientists. For real fans of telepathy, teleportation, clairvoyance, life after death and other “paranormal” Penrose is the truth in the latter instance, magnitude, guru. No, he himself does not work in these areas, but his discoveries allowed other scientists to look beyond the horizon – where previously human thought has not yet reached.

Currently, scientists tend to think that consciousness arises from the many calculations that the brain does. And if so, then they naturally compare our brain with a computer – the same as traditional computers, though far inferior im in power.

Penrose has his own point of view on this subject. He argues that there are certain areas, tasks, issues with which never not one of the most powerful supercomputers can handle. But the brain any tasks on the shoulder. That is, our brain is much more powerful than any a computer. Penrose calls it amazing quality non-computational brain activity.

Remember how in the famous Soviet film “Adolescents in the Universe” guys, faced with representatives of extraterrestrial civilization – robots, they ask them a simple children’s riddle joke: “A and B were sitting on the pipe, A fell, B disappeared, what remains on the pipe? “A simple question, requiring not programmed knowledge, but ordinary human savvy, plunges robots into bewilderment.

They do not withstand stress, begin to smoke like stoves, and in eventually burn out to the ground. This example, of course, is a little far-fetched, but it is he who reflects the position in which insists Roger Penrose: the human brain can deal with any task, even one that will perplex the most powerful supercomputer.

What is the soul?

Before reaching this conclusion, the scientist had to do something build on. His pillar was the quantum theory of consciousness. How is he to came to her – the tenth thing, interesting, perhaps, only very narrow specialists in the field of theoretical physics.

The starting point was the fundamental contradictions between Einstein’s theory of relativity and some provisions quantum physics. As a result of complex conclusions, this conflict of two the greatest achievements in the history of science brought the scientist … to the principles brain work, more precisely, on its quantum nature.

No, Penrose never talked about either telepathy or that such a soul, neither about the universal mind, nor about life after death. For him others did it, in particular his colleague Stuart Hameroff – professor of anesthesiology and psychology at the University of Arizona as well Director of the Center for the Study of Consciousness.

Hameroff in his own way developed the ideas of Penrose. In his opinion, the human brain is a natural quantum computer, consciousness is this is his software, and the soul is information accumulated at the quantum level.

And now – to the delight of the “paranormalists” – wonderful news: quantum information is not destroyed. If so, then after body death information merges with the universe where it can to exist forever. According to american theory an anesthetist, the human soul is immortal, and the afterlife exist. He calls people “quantum computers,” the main whose program is consciousness.

After death, the quantum particles that make up the soul, leave the body and go into space, forever becoming a part Universe, says Stuart Hameroff. “I think that consciousness or that what preceded it always existed in the universe. Maybe, since the Big Bang, “says Hameroff.

The phenomenon of life after death, according to Hameroff, is quite explainable from the point of view of science. If the patient rises, the soul returns from space with corresponding memories. Therefore man clinical death survivor talks about a tunnel, bright light and how he got out of his body.

As regards such revelations of Hameroff, Roger Penrose himself, is unknown. Anyway, he never commented Hameroff’s conclusions. But the fact that one scientist continued his thoughts another, is not in doubt.

Penrose’s theory lacked one crucial detail: the carrier quantum consciousness. The one that should be the basis quantum computer. Hameroff made up for the missing link by taking microtubules located inside neurons – protein intracellular structures.

Back in 1987, in one of his books, he suggested that microtubules are clearly underestimated by science. What microtubules are in the cell used not only as “rails” for transportation particles – it is they, and not neurons, that accumulate and process information.
