We are used to the fact that polar bears can swim and dive in searching for food, but they don’t bother with distant swims, and perhaps they can’t do it. However, this was not So.
The other day, a polar bear demonstrated a real marine swimming, as it appeared near the Hibernia oil platform, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean in more than three hundred kilometers from the city of St. John’s (Canada). To get on this floating giant, you need to swim more than one hundred kilometers through the water. It turns out that polar bears can overcome huge aquatic space.
This is confirmed by another fact: in the area of Hibernia in recent other polar bears were also seen, however the current one is simply swam close and even tried to climb a massive construction, obviously, in order to relax on land. Watched it all crew of Atlantic Merlin, which discovered an animal near platforms early in the morning.
That’s just making polar bears become sailors? Scientists attribute this to global warming on a planet that brings these animals food problems. Apparently, animals intuitively understand what they need. adapt to changing conditions, and set off in search of his “promised land.” Do you know which animals are the most big ones existing?
