Domestic researchers came up with an unusual way confrontation between drug dealers and terrorists. According to Russian scientists, in the future our intelligence services will be able to use against them rat battalions.
These rodents are known to have a striking scent, many times superior to dogs in this regard. The rat is able to smell narcotic and explosives in any volumes and practically in any places.
True, the rat, of course, will not obey man as well implicitly, like a dog, so experts suggest implanting rodents in the brain are special chips that make animals extremely obedient to the owners. Implanting electronic chips in rat heads, researchers hope to get real cyborgs capable of order to enter various places and look for prohibited there Russian legislation of the substance. Thus it will be possible, in in particular, suppress the instinct of self-preservation in rats by sending them on obviously dangerous and even suicidal missions. This, according to scientists are far better than putting human lives at risk.
It is worth noting that sapper rats are already training today in some countries – for example, the Netherlands, Colombia and Israel. Rodents help intelligence officers find explosives and packages with drugs. However, rats do this unconsciously. Russians suggest modifying these animals so that they purposefully searched for what they are being asked for. It’s also in theory allows to improve the rat brain, due to which the cyborg will be able to capture odors even better.
Some rat species can diagnose cancer in humans, tuberculosis and other diseases. However, a regular workout these animals is not the most appropriate thing, because on it may take more than six months, and the rat lives on average year. Domestic experts believe that after implantation of the chip the rodent will immediately come under the control of special services without unnecessary time spent training a little anti-terrorist necessary skills.
