The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published a video with a demonstration first flight of a heavy shock unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) “The Hunter”. UAV testing took place at one of the airfields Ministry of Defense.
The flight of the “Hunter” lasted about 20 minutes. Aircraft made several circles over the harbor at an altitude of 600 meters and then successfully landed on the runway.
The Ministry of Defense specified that the UAV was developed using special technologies ensuring the invisibility of the apparatus for radar detection equipment.
“Hunter” was developed by a large aviation holding – “Company “Dry”.
The UAV has equipment for reconnaissance. The estimated weight of the “Hunter” is 20 tons. UAV develops speed up to 1400 kilometers per hour.
