Nonetheless, Our compatriots from St. Petersburg embodied their plan in life and created the first Sherpa prototypes that will demonstrated in the near future in many Russian exhibitions.
The author of this unusual idea is Alexey Garagashyan, who 2012 decided to create a compact all-terrain vehicle with the highest patency. A handicraft domestic all-terrain vehicle is able to drive where not no one will pass and no other SUV will get through similar sizes. Ground clearance of 0.6 meters and diameter wheels 1.6 meters allow the machine to easily overcome ditches, pits and other obstacles, and, in addition, thanks to a high-precision system pressure regulation in the wheels of the car immediately adapts to features of any locality. The length of the machine is 3.4 meters, width – 2.52 meters, height – 2.3 meters.
But even this is not the most impressive. Sherp swims calmly on water! The air-inflated wheels have large treads, the figure of which acts as a kind of propellers. When an all-terrain vehicle leaves the reservoir for land, water that has got into the body poured out through a special drainage system.
The car is surprisingly modest for such opportunities 1.5 liter diesel engine with 44 horsepower strength. Sherp weighs 1.3 tons and accelerates by land to 45 kilometers at one o’clock. The car floats at a speed of up to 6 kilometers per hour.
