One of the characteristic signs of alien “flying saucers” their noiselessness is considered. Modern ballooning technology, on the contrary, it prefers not to fly as fast as loudly make noise.
But finally, scientists at the Moscow Aviation Institute, using superconducting materials, created a “soundless” electric engine for an airplane. Its power is as at least 10 kW / kg, while the well-known jet engine (which “roars” so that sometimes it becomes scary: war, or something, started?) does not exceed traction in 8 kW / kg.
According to the MISiS employee A.Karpo, who participated in in this development, the “quiet” engine is different and others positive qualities: it is quite environmentally friendly and also lightweight. For this reason, it can be used not only on air apparatus, but also on water heavy vessels – in order to reduce their weight and size at the same or even greater performance.
So if you now notice a noiseless flying object in the sky, do not rush to ascribe it to the UFO aliens – we, as since ancient times it is said in Russia, we also do not slurp cabbage soup! ..
