An international team of experts from 153 countries, including also scientists from Russia, said that if measures are not taken now reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the Earth’s atmosphere then humanity is waiting for “indescribable suffering.” Reports Edition “EurekAlert!”.

The warning document was signed by 11258 experts: climatologists, geologists, oceanologists, biologists and specialists other areas. It provides a warning of material the impact of human activities on the biosphere. The basis for such the findings were forty years of monitoring various parameters, including: energy use, temperature at planet surface, forest extinction, volumes of polar ice, carbon dioxide emissions and changing populations.

The authors of the report are sure that the moral duty of scientists is to prevent humanity about the current climate situation and start take concrete steps to reduce potential consequences.

Ecology professor William Ripple believes that climate change is faster than the researchers expected, and humanity is not yet capable of influencing future changes.

The main recommendations of scientists are: replacement of fossil fuel for renewable energy (renewable energy sources), reduction greenhouse gas emissions, reforestation, reduction amount of food waste and stabilization of growth population (currently the population is growing at 200,000 people per day).

Previously, the UN Panel on Climate Change, stated that humanity has only 10 years left to prevent environmental disaster.
