Doctors have identified three stages of this dependence:

- – at the second stage, a person takes at least three of his pictures a day and tries to certainly post them on social networks;
- – the third stage shows the complete dependence of a person on selfie, when he constantly takes pictures of himself, and in the most extreme and ridiculous situations, and uploads to social networks at least six shots a day.
Of extreme concern is the extreme selfie, in which young people, and most often children, are trying to film themselves in some extraordinary conditions, which often leads to injuries, and even the tragic consequences. For example, recently a Muscovite is hard wounded herself, trying to take off the pistols in her hand, in a fifteen-year-old Petersburger even died, because with an extreme selfie fell off the roof and crashed.
