Employees of the Center for Palliative and Hospice Care for Patients in US city of Buffalo, NY reported completion 10-year study on the last days of life person.
Communicating with their patients, healthcare providers did one very unusual and intriguing discovery. It turns out that shortly before deaths the vast majority of people begin to see the same sleep. Dr. Christopher Kerr, who was research leader.
According to the doctor, watching the hopelessly sick, he and his colleagues determined that about 3 weeks before the death of a person start to visit incredibly vivid and pleasant dreams with one and the same plot. In these dreams, the dying meet the deceased relatives, friends, lovers and even their deceased pets, experiencing very warm sentimental feelings, which could even never have in real life.

The patient often packs a suitcase in a dream and buys a ticket for plane or train, that is, clearly going on its last journey. At the same time, somewhere far away, on the horizon or beyond visibility sleeping, looming amazing landscapes: centuries-old forests, endless fields, warm seas, high mountains. Many patients wake up after of these dreams in tears and for a long time they cannot come to their senses, although impressions of such “transcendental travels” remain with them, as you might guess, the most positive.

It is reported that the study involved over 13 thousand people, and about 88% of them saw on the eve of death amazingly vivid dreams with the above motives. Unusual dreams begin at terminally sick 10-11 weeks before death, and 3 weeks before it night visions are becoming more fantastic and impressive. Experts cannot yet find a rational explanations for this phenomenon.
Of course, materialists suggest that during the brain releases its inevitable extinction in significant quantities the so-called “hormones of happiness” to ease the last days dying. However, there is a metaphysical explanation, according to to which the human soul already begins before the death of the body separate from it, floating away into other dimensions more and more really.
Be that as it may, one thing is certain: these visions calm people and reduce their fear of impending death, and it means suffering.
