The purple device has three sections where you can put it, let’s say meat, side dish and salad. Built-in waterproof sensors and cameras record the mass of food and calculate its calorie content. The user must decide how many calories he wants to eat in one meal, and SmartPlate will ensure that the owner does not overeat, that is, does not exceed the norm established by him. The plate also transmits information on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth channels to the user’s smartphone so that he has the ability to also monitor the volume of food consumption.
According to the inventor, his brainchild is designed not to be ashamed and not scare the owner, and help him come to a healthy diet. Moreover this applies not only to people struggling with overeating, but also those who eat too modestly. If it’s not on the plate enough calories, SmartPlate will certainly notify user that he does not receive the energy he needs.
