American entrepreneurs from the city of Irvine in the state California introduced a prototype of the first ever laser razor, suitable for industrial production. Invention received the name “Skarp”.
Advantages without disadvantages
In contact with the bristles on the face or hair on the foot, the futuristic machine neatly cuts them, while getting a cut or burn from an innovative device is not possible even with great desire. Novelty, according to inventors, protects skin from various infections, as bacteria are known to love parasitize in damaged areas of the epidermis.
Laser razor has many other advantages over razors, which are used by almost everyone today men and women. So, “Skarp” doesn’t need expensive removable blades. You only have to change the finger battery, which will be enough for about a month. Also when using such a device completely eliminates the need for foam and various remedies against irritation. Moisture is now also not needed, which will undoubtedly please people who are unhappily overly high water bills. And on the road, such a razor will be more comfortable. In addition, she shaves effortlessly and any discomfort.

The Skarp machine is positioned by the creators as environmentally friendly safe item. Disposable machines that are enough for several procedures are made of decaying plastic for centuries. Every year, the inhabitants of our planet are thrown into the trash buckets of over two billion disposable razors.
History of creation
One of the authors of the invention was an American engineer of Scandinavian origin Morgan Gustavsson, who back in 1989 the year managed to develop technology of intensely pulsating light, widely used in dermatological treatment and clinical hair removal. In 2001, the inventor came to head idea of a personal laser shaving machine however Gustavsson was forced to postpone her because of the extremely high on that moment of cost. Eight years later, an American committed a real breakthrough, choosing the type of laser beam that can remove hair of any color. Before that, Morgan created a low-efficiency prototype laser razor, which could be used only by burning brunettes.
Two years ago, Gustavsson began collaborating with Paul Binan, improved this technology. Binan found out that all types hair have a special group of atoms, intensively absorbing electromagnetic radiation. “Skarp” acts precisely on these chromophores, completely cuts off the bristles, leaving skin that does not have like atoms, completely unscathed.
To raise funds to launch the production of a miracle razor, inventors resorted to the Kickstarter website. The Americans planned to raise a total of one hundred and sixty thousand dollars, however visitors to the resource liked the idea of safe and an extremely easy to use razor that they donated already four hundred and seventy-six thousand, with the end of the collection of money twenty two more days left. To each of these investors innovative machine suitable for both men and women, cost seventy nine dollars.
