American National Space Agency published fresh pictures of the Black Sea. It turned out that the darkest sea planets in many places have changed their color from dark blue to turquoise.
The same metamorphosis occurred with the Bosphorus Strait connecting Black Sea with the Marmara. It is reported that photographs were taken research satellite “Aqua Satellite”, intended for observations of the oceans.

Scientists suggest that everything was to blame the course, which brought into the sea colossal volumes of phytoplankton. Most likely, we are talking about unicellular algae coccolithophorids. They, apparently, and painted water in a shade blue and green.

They take part in the exchange carbon between the atmosphere and the hydrosphere, being an important link in the ocean’s absorption chain of inorganic carbon from the air.
