An incredible case of “resurrection” (not to be called otherwise) occurred in Spain in November. Spanish doctors in an amazing way reanimated 34-year-old resident of Britain, whose heart does not beat for more than 6 hours.
It all started with how the British went with her husband travel to the Catalan Pyrenees, where she suddenly became ill. The woman lost consciousness and did not show any signs of life. The husband called the doctors, who on arrival recorded at the woman lack of pulse and falling body temperature to 18 degrees.
Despite the almost zero chance of salvation, doctors delivered British woman at the medical facility of Barcelona Vall d‛Hebron and started resuscitation measures.
Spanish doctors tried to reanimate a woman with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (blood saturation oxygen). After some time, the heart of the British managed to run. However, doctors were worried that in recent hours irreversible changes could occur in a woman’s brain. It turned out that this did not happen. Doctors consider this case unique.
