Already more than one generation of scientists is struggling with the mystery of construction Egyptian pyramids. Unable to explain how the Egyptians moved multi-ton stone blocks, the builders write down gods, then space aliens. Meanwhile, in the 20th century in America there lived a man who claimed to have revealed the secret of the ancient builders. It was Edward Leedskalnins, an emigrant from Latvia. According to the ancients technology, he built a whole complex of stone buildings, now known as Coral Castle.
In 1913, 16-year-old Latvian girl Agnes Scuffs said to his fiancé Edward that the announced wedding will not take place: he too old (26 years old) and poor for her. The young man was very fond of his chosen one, for him it was a strong blow. He left Latvia to faraway America, where nothing reminded of what befell him misfortune. After several years of ordeal, Edward donkey in Florida near the city of Homestead, where he bought a land plot of 4 acres, on which Coral Castle began to be erected – a monument to his unrequited love.

Construction lasted almost 20 years. Basically the complex was ready in 1936, although Edward worked on replenishing his park until the very last day. The ensemble includes stone chairs, armchairs, tables, beds, sculptures of the Moon, Mars and Saturn, the two-story tower where Leedskalnins lived and much more. Done of limestone, the weight of individual products reaches tens of tons. The figures symbolizing the planets – 18 tons each, “month” – 23 tons, 12-meter obelisk – 28.5 tons. It still remains a mystery how Edward endured blocks from the place of extraction on the coast to your site and placed them there, as he raised 5-ton sculptures to a height of 10 m. He never I didn’t hire equipment for this and I never hired people to help. The thin, feeble Edward, whose weight barely exceeded 47 kg, always coped by himself.

No one has ever seen him moving blocks of stone. The unsociable Latvian kept his secret from the curious. First in the park a 2.5-meter fence appeared that enclosed everything that was being done on the site from a few neighbors. All work Edward spent after sunset. To rare questions, he replied that he had revealed The secret to building Egyptian pyramids. There is a legend that some the kids saw at night how many-ton boulders soared in the air above plot, obeying the passes of the “sorcerer”. But that’s all.
Edward died in 1951, never revealing his secret. After of his death in the tower were found blocks, chains, powerful electromagnets and a dc generator. How did all this help him move their sculptures are incomprehensible. Some researchers claim that by studying the remaining records of Linskalninsh, they managed to reveal the secret the construction of the coral castle. Only now, none of them with the help of this knowledge could not move even a meter 1.5 – 2 tons trifle cube from the Latvian collection emigrant.
